This is troubling...since visiting Middlebury I have been listening to Top 40 dance music on the radio and youtube, something I haven't done since the 7th grade. Of course 89.3 The Current and Classical 99.5 (gotta love that MN public radio) are my main stations, but I throw KDWB into the mix now. WHAT'S GOIN' ON?!

On the drive to Madeleine's I sang along to Ghetto Superstar. Somebody slap me. (What's even more disturbing is that I remembered most of the chorus lyrics)

When I got to Les Sasseville's, Mad presented me with a plastic HP treasure chest (DUDE) which was housing a pack of adorable Hedwig thank you cards. ALSO, two Madeleine Sasseville original drawings: a sort of caricature of Barack Obama :D and a brooding, colorful portrait of Christian Bale. My mom promised to help frame them both. She thinks I should send a xeroxed copy to Barack Obama and ask for a signature.

S and M (Ooer) tried to learn the dance in the Single Ladies video and now I can't get the song out of my head.

My dad and I are watching season one of 30 Rock, and I am breaking my rule of updating just once daily on this little ditty.

Tomorrow is all packing and cleaning and packing and seeing Kate Winslet circa 2001 Claire once last time.
